In 1686, the chapel was expanded into an oratory, again at the expense of the Selletti family. In 1704, Giacomo Gnifeta of Alagna created the first frescoes of the oratory. In the mid-19th century, the sacristy and a small room for residential use were built adjacent to the oratory. The last restorations of the interior paintings and decorations date back to 1899.
