On the exterior, the main facade has lost some of its original representativeness. The entrance portal, embellished with two columns supporting a broken pediment with a shrine in the center, has not been used for a long time. Today, access to the church is through the left side portal. An element of historical suggestion is the nearby residence of the canons, of which today only one wall remains standing, a silent witness to a more vibrant past.

Inside, the atmosphere is sober and collected. The walls, almost completely bare, are painted a gray color that accentuates the sense of peace and recollection. The original object of worship, the shrine with the Trinity fresco, now features Baroque-era stucco decorations, added later to protect and embellish the older work.

Despite the passing of centuries and an inevitable scaling back of its activity, the sanctuary keeps its spiritual function alive. The feast of the Most Holy Trinity, celebrated on June 18, remains the culminating moment of the liturgical year for this community.
