The presence of the Dominicans helped spread devotion to the Virgin of Graces and consolidate the sanctuary’s role as a center of spirituality and culture. In 1771, a decree from the Venetian Senate led to the removal of the Dominicans, marking a phase of transition in the sanctuary’s history.

Although the icon of the Virgin is the focal point of devotion, it is important to remember the figures of saints linked to the Dominican order, who contributed to the spirituality of the place.
